Oatmeal cookies with banana are an interesting option for homemade baking. No need to fiddle with the dough for a long time. Flakes and mashed banana - this is the preparation for the cookies, a substitute for the dough, which remains only to form into small cakes and bake. All other ingredients (sugar, cream or milk, fruits or nuts, eggs) are considered optional and simply enrich products with natural carbohydrates. Variety of cookies is possible with spices or spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger, a pinch of cayenne pepper (for connoisseurs of savory tastes in sweets), citrus fruit zest or ground apricot kernel.

Banana Oatmeal Cookies - General Cooking Principles

You can cook such cookies in the oven on a baking sheet or in a pan on the stove. For this purpose, it is better to cover the baking sheet with paper or foil, and melt a little butter in a pan. Or you can just grease a baking sheet with ordinary vegetable oil.

Take only high-quality oatmeal for recipes of cookies without impurities and particles of unrefined grains. Suitable as a small oatmeal, so large.

Bananas in the recipes will suit both slightly greenish and already blackened. It is easier to roll the dough out of blackened bananas, so I often use them for making oatmeal cookies.

When preparing oatmeal cookies with a banana, it is not necessary to use eggs. The banana itself is used for the dough bundle, but the eggs in this test will give excess moisture.

Wheat or any other flour should not be added to the dough with oatmeal. Although in some cases this advice can be skipped and one or two tablespoons of premium wheat flour can be added to oatmeal. For the second option, special confectionery chocolate "drops" are perfect - they are the same size and pastries with them look appetizing and presentable.

Banana Oatmeal Cookies - Classic Recipe

Ingredients:

· One glass of oatmeal;

200 g banana

· 2 tbsp. l powdered sugar;

· 2 tbsp. l cream (fat milk or sour cream).

Cooking method:

1. Pour oatmeal with cream and mix.

2. Mash the banana in a separate bowl with mashed potatoes or in any other convenient way and add to the cereal. Pour the icing sugar in there. Mix everything and leave for 10-15 minutes.

3. Turn on the oven at 180 ° C and prepare a baking sheet with low sides. Cover it with baking paper. If you have unused small pieces lying around, take them. It is advisable to grease the paper with some kind of oil.

4. Now wet your hands in cold water and take a tablespoon of a little oatmeal. Use your hands to form a ball, flatten it and place on a baking sheet. So blind all the cookie blanks.

5. Bake them for about half an hour in the oven. If the cookies do not have time to brown, then leave it to bake for another ten minutes. When pulled out, sprinkle with a thin layer of icing sugar if desired.

Oatmeal cookies with banana - with cinnamon and dried fruits

Ingredients:

· A glass of Hercules flakes;

Two egg yolks

· 1 tbsp. l premium wheat flour;

A pinch of ground cinnamon;

One small banana

A handful of prunes;

· a pinch of salt;

A couple of pinches of baking powder.

Cooking method:

1. Rinse the prunes (seedless) and pour hot water in the bowl for a few minutes. Then rinse and finely chop with a knife. If you add whole berries to a blender to grind, it will most likely fail. It's all about the harsh consistency of dry prunes. Instead of prunes, it is permissible to take any dried fruit - one variety or a mixture thereof. It is good to combine raisins with dried apricots in cookies.

2. In a blender, grind the banana. Add the yolks and flakes to it. Beat a couple more seconds. Cereals can be milled separately if desired.

3. Inject prunes, flour and cinnamon with salt. Also a baking powder. Mix the mass.

4. Preheat the oven to 180-190˚С.

5. Divide the mixed mass into small pieces. It is convenient to form a pre-dipped in cold water with a specialized ice cream spoon.

6. Place balls on a wide baking sheet at a sufficient distance from each other. Flatten them with your fingers and bake for 30-35 minutes.

Ingredients:

100 g of dry oatmeal;

Ingredients:

A handful of walnuts;

A pinch of vanillin;

Cooking method:

1. Fill the flakes with oil and leave to soften. Instead of lean, you can take melted butter or finished ghee.

2. Peel the banana and mashed with a fork in mashed potatoes.

3. Fry the walnuts in a dry pan for a couple of minutes. Be sure to stir so that they do not burn. Then cool and slightly exfoliate the dark bitter skin. Chop the nuts with a knife into small crumbs.

4. Stir in the same bowl cereal in oil, nuts, vanilla, sugar and banana. Remember the dough with your hands a little so that the mass is homogeneous. Divide into approximately equal pieces - 30-50 g each. Form flattened balls.

5. Put the blanks on a baking sheet separately from each other and bake in the oven at 200 ° C for 25 minutes.

Oatmeal Cookies with Banana and Orange

Ingredients:

· Half an average orange (or one mandarin);

· 100 g of "Hercules";

One banana

1-2 tsp Sahara;

A pinch of nutmeg;

A pinch of ground ginger;

2 tsp vegetable oil;

· 2 tbsp. l butter.

Cooking method:

1. If the Hercules flakes are large, grind them slightly in a coffee grinder.

2. Squeeze the juice of half an orange and mix with cereal and vegetable oil. Leave to swell for a quarter of an hour. Instead of orange juice, if you wish, you can take any other fruit juice (of your own preparation, freshly pressed or in-store).

3. For now, you can turn on the oven to a standard temperature - 180-200 ° C.

4. Banana puree by any means and mix in the orange-oatmeal mixture. Also add sugar, nutmeg and ginger. Shuffle.
