Famous Lithuanian actor Donatas Banionis dies

Today, at the age of 90, the famous Lithuanian actor Donatas Banionis passed away. In recent years, the actor was sick. In 2008, he buried his spouse, whom he loved very much. After that, health problems began, the actor was sewn into the heart with an artificial stimulant, followed by a rather long recovery period.

Donatas Banionis is the winner of many awards. In the cinema, they played about 100 roles, many images (even if they were episodic) the audience remembered for a long time. The most famous films with the participation of Banionis - "Dead Season", "Solaris", "Suicide Club, or The Adventures of Prince Florizel", "Bag of the Collector".
